Benjamin Moore's coatings offer superior application and flow, high-hiding and coverage properties, exceptional colourfastness (especially in the acrylic latex products), and increased durability, particularly in the sheened finishes.

A wide variety of colours are available, as well as a range of finishes: flat, eggshell, pearl, semi-gloss, and (high) gloss, all of which come in both latex (water-based) and alkyd (oil-based).

Products come in (U.S.) gallon sizes. The best quality paints are also available in (U.S.) quarts sizes and select products come in 5-gallon pails.

Quality levels

Paints in all levels are tintable in a full range of bases for extensive colour selection.

Benjamin Moore Collection - Best quality -Available in interior and exterior, latex and alkyd, offering the best of the properties desired from a premium paint, especially exceptional coverage.

Moorestyle - Painter grade (2nd line) - Interior latex and alkyd available in flat to semi-gloss finishes. Exterior latex comes in flat and semi-gloss; exterior alkyd comes in (high) gloss. A quality product with good coverage, the spreadability is somewhat less than the higher solids found in the best quality.

MooreSpec - Contractor grade (3rd line) - Interior latex available in flat to semi-gloss finishes; interior alkyd available in semi-gloss. This product line offers economically priced coatings of reasonable quality.

MooreEcoSpec - A special low-VOC, more ecologically, friendly latex available in flat, eggshell, pearl, and semi-gloss, is also available in pastel and mid-depth colours, and in gallon sizes. (This product is stocked in limited supply and may need to be special ordered).

A number of specialty paints are also available such as: Latex Kitchen & Bath, Melamine (a urethane-reinforced alkyd), Porch & Floor Enamels, and a variety of clear coats (varnishes & urethanes), and both Latex and Alkyd Glazes. We also carry a wide selection of primers and sealers for various surfaces.

Some of the products in this line are: specialty primers, alkyd-based and latex-based coatings, epoxies, aliphatic urethanes, chlorinated rubber (chemically resistant, pool paints), heat resistant coatings, sweep-up coatings and traffic-marking paint.
